WHO DO I CONTACT?

Parents often ask: "Who do I call when I have a question or a problem?"
The answer: it depends on how old the player is!

If they were born between 5/1/18 - 4/30/20, contact the VP of T-Ball/Instructional Division.
If they were born between 5/1/16 - 4/30/18, contact the VP of T-Ball/Instructional Division.
If they were born between 5/1/15 - 4/30/17, contact the VP of the Rookie League.
If they were born between 5/1/13 - 4/30/15, contact the VP of the Minor League.
If they were born between 5/1/11 - 4/30/13, contact the VP of the Major League.
If they were born between 5/1/07 - 4/30/11, contact the VP of the Big Diamond Division.

In addition, the Player Agent can be contacted for all player issues, especially if it is a concern requiring confidentiality.
If you feel there is a safety issue, contact the Safety Coordinator.

If you are a manager and the umpires have not shown up for the game, please contact our Umpire-in-Chief.

13th Annual Soucy Tournament

The 13th ANNUAL FRED SOUCY
INVITATIONAL BASEBALL TOURNAMENT

JULY 9 - JULY 29, 2018

North Andover Little League invites you to participate in the 13th Annual Fred Soucy Invitational Baseball Tournament. The Soucy Tournament is a Minors tournament that continues to build upon its tradition of attracting a balance of competitiveness and sportsmanship.

WHO - The Tournament is strictly a Minors Tournament (Ages 8-12). District and Cooperstown Teams/Players are not eligible to play in this Tournament. No AAU/EBL Teams.

WHEN - Tournament games may begin as early as Monday July 9, 2018, and the tournament semi-final and final games will be on Saturday, July 28, 2018 and Sunday, July 29, 2018 (weather permitting). The schedule is subject to change based on how many teams enter the Tournament. We are very flexible with pool play games, and will schedule around other tournaments that you have entered, but your team must be available to play on both July 28 and July 29 or you risk forfeiting a semi-final or final game.

WHERE - The Tournament will be held in North Andover at the following field locations: Carl Thomas, Aplin Field, Sharpners Field, and Osgood Landing. Directions to these fields can be obtained on the NALL website at: www.northandoverlittleleague.org

FORMAT - The Tournament will have three divisions as follows:

7/8 division
9/10 division (no 10 year old District or All-Star teams allowed)
11/12 division (no 11 or 12 year old District or All-Start teams allowed)

NOTE: Cal Ripken Age Determination will govern eligibility for each division (division age based on a player’s age as of April 30, 2018)

Each team entering the Tournament will be guaranteed at least four (4) games. Divisions with at least 8 teams will be divided into two pools, with the top two (2) teams from each pool advancing to the playoffs. Divisions with fewer than 8 teams will compete in a single pool, with the top four (4) teams advancing to the playoffs. Alternative pool structures may be implemented if 12 or more teams are registered for a division.

PROOF OF AGE - All teams entered in the Tournament shall attest to the birth date of each player upon registration. NALL reserves the right to request a certified copy of the original Birth Certificate of any player participating in the Tournament.

RULES - The Tournament will follow the 2018 Little League Green Book Rules. All pitching by players in the tournament must strictly adhere to the Pitch Count requirements set forth in the 2018 Little League Green Book with respect to number of days rest based on number of pitches thrown in any given game. Pitch counts must be provided to the director of each tournament division by each team after each game. More detailed rules will be provided once you submit your Application, Team Roster, and Tournament Fee. Tournament-specific rules can be found here.

FEE - The cost for the Tournament is $400 per team. The Tournament Fee should be made payable to "North Andover Little League". All teams will be required to provide two baseballs for each game played in the tournament. Baseballs must have a leather cover: Diamond DLL-1, Rawlings RLLB1, Wilson A1074BLL-1, Spalding 41-004E, or equivalent.

FEE DUE DATE - The Tournament Fee is due by July 1, 2018.
